Save Our Community Open Space

The owners and developers of PGA West are proposing to establish infill residential developments in five communities within PGA West, replacing existing open space. These proposed infill developments threaten to eliminate irreplaceable open space, increase traffic, and diminish our quality of life and viewshed of the Coachella Valley.

Why This Matters

PGA West’s open space is part of what makes this community unique. This community-led website was created to inform residents and the broader La Quinta community about five proposed infill development projects that would permanently convert open space into new residential development.

The five projects—Canal, Hermitage, Norman, Seminole, and Weiskopf—total 32 residential lots and 3 condominium units.

We are advocating for a transparent public process, a cumulative impact review, and the protection of the open space that defines PGA West.
